OUR STORY

Psychlytics was founded in 2022 by Lori Seviola, who has been in the assessment industry since 1995. Specifically, she has helped corporations mitigate high-levels of mental health-related absenteeism, productivity issues, and disability. After the successful sale of a previous behavioral health company she co-owned, her focus turned to athletics. She recognized that athletes, universities and teams were often struggling to confront the rapidly evolving landscape in which an athletes’ unrecognized mental health challenges emerged as a critical issue.

In her previous work with corporations she observed that by focusing on psychological test data organizations can build effective decision-making practices. Thus, she built a platform providing decision makers with a new set of tools to improve outcomes. She believes by helping athletes and organizations quickly identify developing areas of concern, it creates a culture of accountability, and decreases the negative impacts related to mental health.

ABOUT US

HOW OUR CLIENTS BENEFIT

The demand for information related to mental performance is growing. Organizations that monitor mental performance protect and nurture their most vital asset. Our App based, self-administered survey instruments focus on the mental health issues related to athletics. It gives decision-makers opportunities previously unavailable to intervene before an issue escalates. This is done by monitoring data and providing treatment tailored to athletes needs over time.

OUR APPROACH

“If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it“. (Peter Drucker) It’s not enough to simply offer more programs; organizations need to apply the same rigor for measuring results, over time, in mental health as they do for more traditional business or athletic performance milestones.

Our App is a customizable, easy-to-use evidence-based questionnaire that measures mental performance as it relates to physical outcomes over time. Measurements are related to the specific assessment and need. The App collects data related to the individual’s level of difficulty or ability to perform tasks , often helping to recognize challenges before they affect one’s performance. The data are is provided to your behavioral health specialists or can be reviewed by our specialized behavioral health clinicians who make recommendations.

OUR VALUES

We believe when you feel better, you do better. Helping organizations utilize behavioral health data will lead to better mental health performance.

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to create better mental health outcomes for athletes.

Relatedly, we are dedicated to the athletic performance enhancement which is almost universally a goal of the athletes, coaches, administrations and the teams with whom we work.
